Posted March 1, 2015: Tire Rule Change for Crate American Racer Series:
Attention Crate Late Models:
TIRES: All race cars participating in the CARS program MUST run the newly designed Crate American Racer Tire that utilizes a block tread pattern in the 44 and 53 compounds. Grooving/Sipping allowed ONLY on the 53 CRATE PLATED.
All race cars NOT participating in the CARS program will be required to run two(2) American Racer Spec Tires (44's or 53's) on the rear of the car. Front tires can be approved FASTRAK or RUSH series approved tires.
MARION CENTER SPEEDWAY CRATE LATE MODEL CLASS TO RUN UNDER THE CRATE AMERICAN RACER SERIES (CARS) BANNER IN 2015!
We at Marion Center Speedway would like to welcome the Crate American Racer Series in 2015! The CARS program is new for the upcoming race season and will offer a $20,000 point fund with $5,000 to the overall series champion. Along with a great point fund we are glad to announce to our drivers that the series will include random tire and product giveaways throughout 2015. The CARS program is all about weekly home track racing, as a team’s best finishes at our weekly track will be stacked up against the best finishes from teams at all the participating facilities. This series will allow our drivers to compete against fellow crate racers across the northeast without the added expense of traveling.
This program will use the newly designed American Racer Crate tire or the current Hoosier (FASTRAK or RUSH) crate tire. The newly designed Crate American Racer Tire utilizes a block tread pattern and will be available in the 44 and 53 compounds.
For more information on the CARS program you can call 800-638-7028 or email us at email@example.com
.Marion Center Speedway has add to the weekly line-up a “Front Wheel Drive, V-4 & V-6, pure stock car” division for the 2015 Race Season.
The idea is to provide a division for low budget racing, cars without modifications from the factory, no turbos, nothing but nearly street legal cars without the glass attached and roll bars added. Rules/spec sheets for the division have been posted here on the website.
New Tech Personal have been appointed at MCS for the 2015 Racing Season.
Any questions about the rules or your car:
Please call Rich @ (724)388-6462, Jim Eiselman @ (724)762-2533 or (724)-349-7078, or Sam McAdams @ (724)541-4371.
